Responded ridiculously quickly to my email (at 9 o’clock at night) and came out the next morning. Diagnosed the issues quickly and found it was something very small and easy to fix. Knocked it out and moved on. Trustworthy, fast, professional. Can’t ask for more than that. And he is a small local business. Perfect.

Pro-Tech HVAC Home came to my house on short notice when the AC went out on a hot Summer day. The tech replaced the capacitor for hundreds of dollars less than other quotes I received. Quick service and saved us a ton of money on a new AC and on our electric bill! When our old unit finally stopped working we knew exactly who to call: ProTech HVAC Home. We would not have survived this summer’s horrible heat wave! Their tech came the next day wearing a KN95 mask without us asking him to. He did a load calculation taking into account recent weather proofing that we had done and determined that we no longer needed as big of a unit. He explained how a smaller unit would do a better job of dehumidifying and keeping our home at a steady temperature, eliminating the hot and cold cycles we had experienced before. When the new unit arrived the Pro-Tech team installed it in just a few hours, early in the morning so that by midday our crisis was over. Once again they not only saved us money on the new unit, they are saving us on our electric bill as well. Thank God we found this company.
Pro-Tech HVAC Home replaced our upstairs HVAC system. There were fantastic. The face of Pro-Tech is Chris Mahoney, a true professional who was there from start to finish. When developing the estimate, he performed a Manual-J calculation to verify the size of the unit, and checked the flow at all of the vents. He didn’t try to upsell equipment, and gave me a very reasonable price for three potential systems. He was the only one who didn’t pressure me to make a decision on the spot, and he emailed me all of the information within a day of our appointment. We went with the least cost, American Standard. When we placed our order, Chris was actually able to procure the higher-quality Lennox system for the same amount, so we went with that unit instead. Chris and his crew arrived on time, and stayed until the job was done. When they realized the old thermostat was incompatible, Chris bought a replacement one and hooked it up at no additional cost. I highly recommend them, and I will use Pro-Tech HVAC Home for all of my heating and cooling needs.

Everyone I met from the company were friendly & knowledgable professionals. I received 3 quotes for replacement of my home A/C system and Pro-Tech HVAC Home was by far the least expensive. After installation there was a slight issue with a component of the furnace the wasn’t included in the scope of work, yet the folks at Pro-Tech went above and beyond and repaired it to ensure I had a functional system in place without having to come out-of-pocket again. The part I was most impressed with–the gentleman that sold me the system (Chris) was on-site during the installation to ensure what we discussed was what they delivered. I work for a services-based company and a phrase you typically hear is “don’t confuse the implementation with the sale”, meaning promise the customer the world to ensure you make the sale, knowing you won’t or can’t deliver exactly what is promised. That certainly was NOT the case with these guys – I highly recommend them.
